Guidelines for Parents

• Parents are expected to co-operate with the school in enforcing regularity and discipline in the children by seeing that they prepare their lessons at home and also take active interest in the activities of the school.
• Attend the parent/teacher meetings to ensure child’s progress in school. Your absence could be interpreted as indifference. Write a note explaining why you could not attend the PTM.
• Always pay the fees and other dues on time and avoid embarrassment to the child.
• Birthday celebrations, giving gifts and sweets to children and staff are not permitted.
• Donations in cash or kind towards poor fund may be made in the office.
• No child is permitted to leave the school premises once he/she comes to school during the school hours.
• Private tuition is totally banned for students by the school staff.
• Appointments with doctors, must not be taken during the school hours.
• Books, Tiffin, articles etc. will not be delivered to the children by parents during class hours.
• Parents/Guardians are expected to be modestly and formally dressed for meetings inside the school premises.
• Parents, Guardians or visitors are not allowed to walk into class rooms or to see their children or meet their teachers during school hours, without prior permission of the Principal.
• Instigating others, alone or by joining with any other person and violating any lawful and reasonable orders of t he competent authority will lead to expulsion of the student.
• Criticism of students, teachers or the school in his/her presence should be prudently avoided, because it causes the student to lose his/her respect for the teacher, with the consequent failure to learn from her. If you have a legitimate complaint, report it to the Principal directly and not to any member of the staff. Forming groups and posting inappropriate comments in social media groups is not appreciated.
• In all communication with the school, the name, standard, and section of the child should be clearly mentioned. Anonymous letters cannot be entertained.
• The school management, Principal and staff will not be held responsible in any way for any accident or mishap that may occur to the student in the school premises during the school hours or while going back home by bus or any other vehicle.
• Sick students should not be sent to school.
• Students suffering from any contagious or infectious disease are not allowed to rejoin school until recovery is complete. Parents should note the Quarantine periods recommended for these common childhood ailments.
• Chicken Pox and Small Pox: Till all the blisters dry and fall off.
• Measles: Two weeks after the rashes disappear.
• Jaundice: 4 weeks
• Whooping Cough: 4 weeks
• Conjunctivitis: Till no white discharge comes out from the eyes.
• Viral Fever: Five days after the fever has come down to normal.

• Parents must ensure that their ward is aware of the consequences that shall be meted out by the school, in case rules are flouted. Poor classroom behavior seriously hampers the teaching learning process. Students who are in the learning mode, suffer on account of those who create nuisance. Similarly, unbecoming student behavior in the school in the forms of bullying, hitting others, abusing etc. ruins healthy atmosphere. The school cannot tolerate any acts of indiscipline leniently.
• Warning card will be issued for indiscipline, irregularity or late arrivals, untidiness, uniform non observance, neglect of daily lessons, frequent omission of homework, insolence, filthy language, stealing, malicious behavior, copying in examination or a test, truancy etc.
• For the repeated acts of indiscipline, the parents will be called to school. The school may give suspension and the duration of the same will be decided by the management depending on the nature of the offence. The school will not entertain any request for condoning the duration of the suspension.
• The Notebooks and books are very important learning aid for students. The parents are expected to take care/ to guide/ to help their wards to maintain their notebooks properly:
• Covering of all the books and notebooks properly.
• To write the particulars after pasting of Name sticker.
• To help their wards for updating their H.W.
• The students notebooks will be re-checked weekly as per the schedule mentioned below:
• Monday: I & II
• Tuesday: III & IV
• Wednesday: V & VI
• Thursday: VII & VIII
• Friday: IX & X
