The school has three terms: May, September and February. There is an examination at the end of each term. In case of illness, the final result will be considered on the basis of the performance in the previous terms and general performance during the year. A student who uses unfair means or receives and gives assistance in any form during tests will be given zero in the subject, a grey card and a warning letter. Repetition of the same will result in expulsion. Reports on general progress and result of the assessment, test and examinations are communicated to the parents by means of the progress report. If any correction is to be made in the report card, it is to be brought to the attention of the Principal. In every term, a certain percentage of marks decided by the School Management will be allotted for Attendance which will be included in the Internal Assessments of every subject. Late submission of any academic work will lead to zero marks for that subject in that term.
CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION
Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of the pupil, hence due importance is to be given to regularity in attendance and work. The final examination is meant to confirm the results of the year’s work by the students and is not a promotion examination.
EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION
Being an unaided minority educational institution the school enjoys total exemption from the RTE Act, and therefore the students who fail to obtain the required marks for promotion as per the CISCE norms would be detained in the same class and the students will be asked to repeat the year. Result once declared at the end of the year is final and will not be reconsidered, nor will the answer papers be shown.
