St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara (1805–1871), founder of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC), was a visionary priest and social reformer. He championed education for all, promoted family prayer, and worked for social upliftment, leaving a lasting legacy of faith and service. Centered on the personal sanctification of members and upliftment of women and children. A man of deep spirituality, he believed in education’s power to transform society. His dedication to uplifting the poor and fostering unity continues to guide us toward wisdom, integrity, and selfless service.
